I ended up at this restaurant by chance — the one I wanted to go to in Praia de Mira was closed for holidays, and the only other place nearby with a vegan option offered pasta with vegetables. I found this one on HappyCow and called ahead, only to learn the kitchen would close at 2:30 pm. I was a bit disappointed since that was exactly how long the drive there would be, but the owner kindly told me to come anyway, assuring me that five or ten minutes wouldn’t make a difference — and even advised me not to drive too fast. That already gave me a great impression. The restaurant sits right by the lagoon, with a car park that opens onto a field where two horses were peacefully grazing. The walls are painted with sea and autumn motifs, creating a cozy, artistic atmosphere. There’s a dedicated vegan section on the menu, and the staff actually know what vegan means — a rare and very welcome surprise. Their garlic “butter” is vegan (yay!), though they were honest enough to tell me their bread isn't as it contains egg. We tried the vegan stroganoff and the vegan al forno. When the al forno arrived covered in what looked like real cheese, I asked the waitress about it — she reassured me it was vegan and even brought out the package to prove it. The soy in both dishes was fantastic — tender, flavorful, perfectly cooked. All in all, what a wonderful surprise! I’ll definitely be coming back.

Very reasonably priced. Great place to go with family and friends to share a pizza. The 45cm pizza is massive because the pizza is loaded up. Super cold beer. The bread basket they give is to die for good. I only give 4 stars because I’ve had better pizza but for the price it’s good.

Pizza in Portugal is super expensive compared to most other countries I have been to. This pizzaria is quite good as rated. Will save up to visit again sometime.
